Lunar Eclipse Preparations

Preparing the equipment for Mondays Partial Lunar Eclipse. 12 frames stacked in registax 6, saturated and slight sharpening in gimp.

Nice image Andrew. Unfortunately I had to make a sacrifice to the weather gods and chose clear sky for the Venus transit over this event. Sorry mate but I will see plenty more partials, but never another transit.

Its looking a little iffy at this stage although we had hail and heavy showers today, I am confident of clearish skies... although broke my electric focuser so this should be interesting....
