Sirius, Rigel, Beteguese, Trapezium

Hi Everyone,

I have been trying out the 12" Sky-Watcher Dobsonian and Canon EOS 600D in video mode on individual stars. Here is Sirius A and B, Rigel A and B, Betelguese, and the Trapezium from last night. All stacked in Registax, manually tracked.

Thanks for looking,

Tom

Really good Tom, can't wait to get my DOB up and running, my shoulder is getting better now and these are the kind of experiments I love to do as well.

Thanks for the views Tom. Seperated the doubles easily and showing the fainter stars in the Trapezium. All the best.

Very nice doubles but love the trapezium stars as they separate out well.

I just got an email through Flickr from a researcher from the BBC. They want to use my Sirius pic for their 90min documentary called 'The Seven Ages of Starlight'

The one of Rigel reminded me of a 9 y.o. we showed that to many years ago. He asked if the small one's name was Nigel. Somehow that has stuck with me - Rigel and Nigel!
