Venus/Uranus conjunction

There's a conjunction between Venus and Uranus next week, on the 18th and 19th of April.

They'll be within 0.5° of each other on both days - on the 18th Uranus will be below and to the right, and on the 19th, it will be above.

Would make a nice widefield photo and visual sight from about 4am onwards.

Look forward to seeing the photos and reading the reports!

For the trivia buffs, this is the closest that Venus and Uranus will appear together until March 2015, when just 0.1 degrees will separate the pair in the evening sky (though we in Australia / NZ will miss the moment of closest approach).
