Brown Falcons and Black Hawk.

Few images from the cab window when going around the paddocks this afternoon.

The pair of Brown Falcons, think the female is on the right, these are 'dark phase' versions, regardless of which version you see, they all have the 'pale check mark'.

The helicopter-I think is a black hawk, but could be a 'puma',it made a lot of noise, and was low,but still some distance from me.Thought I'd post the frame as it came from camera, and some crops.

Using a 400L prime and 50 d in manual mode.

Nice shots Chris.

The chopper is definitely a Blackhawk. It has a "tail-dragger" undercarriage, whereas the Superpuma has a retractable tricycle undercarriage.

The Singapore military train with their Superpumas from Oakey. When I worked at Toowoomba hospital many years ago, they occasionally flew into the hospital helipad on training runs - massive choppers!!!
