I am reposting this advertisement as there was some interest last round but no sale.
I am selling my 12mm T2 Nagler as increasingly I am prefering eyepieces with sufficient eye relief for use with glasses.
$250 plus postage.
I bought this used from Gary Beal a few years ago. Has been my most used eyepiece in my 16" Dob. Apart from usual minor locking screw scratches from normal use, the only damage is the original owner (not Gary) engraved his initials on the side of the eyepiece. Optics are perfect. No original TV box. I personally find the T2 Naglers (12mm and 16mm, I have never used the 20mm) give a more immersive view than the T6 versions. I really enjoy using this eyepiece and would be keeping it except for insufficient eye relief for glasses.

11mm Eye Relief
I am planning to replace the 12mm T2 with a 12mm T4 for the extra eye relief, 11mm vs 17mm. The 12mm T4 is $399+post from Bintel so I really have to get close to $250 for the T2 to be able to justify the swap. The T6's retail for $329 new and I based the selling price for the T2 on 75% of the new T6 price as opposed to the new T4 price.
Is $250 my best price? I have given the matter some further thought and yes is is for the following reasons:
1. I am not much of a bargainer and I have never been one for trying to screw the best deal I can (my loss I know) an on the few occasions where I have sold something, I generally just set my min price up front. . As per above, the $250 figure is what I need to get.
2. I really like the T2 and I feel it is a much better eyepiece than the T6. Regardless of the telescope being used I have always found the 12mm and 16mm (borrowed) T2's quite immersive compared to the T6. On that basis it is not worth it to me to sell the T2 for less than $250.
