M104

Hi everyone,

With the new moon coming, I had a trial crack at M104 from the 'burbs last night. This is 13x10min, 130 mins in all with the IDAS LP filter.
I'm probably not doing it justice, and I'm probably pushing the limits of my gear (and my abilities), but it's a pretty cool target.
It's one of the first objects that blew me away when I saw it through a 25" Dob.

Anyway, thanks for looking. All feedback welcome.

That's going to be hard to pull out of the noise but
you do have the start of some dust lane detail.
