Here is my shot from today - the ARs that are pretty much centred on the disc. Lunt60 this time.
I hope the Venus transit weather is like the past 2 days!!!!!

Nice work Matt. I wimped out today as the jet stream map showed howling wind speeds over SE Qld so I figured the seeing wouldn’t be up to much.

Hi Dennis - what sites do you use to review jet streams etc - btw what are they (high altitude winds?) and how do they effect seeing?

Thanks folks! I hope Venus passes some features like these!!!???
The forecast is not looking good for Brisbane and the transit - any suggestions where to go? - I have a five - seven hour driving radius.
