Tonights moon with the 350D

Yes! I used my 350D to take an astrophoto through the telescope See mojo, I can do it

I used my upmarket 32mm GSO plossl and the 350D mounted on a tripod to take some pictures afocally. The moon was only about 25-30° altitude, and the seeing was terrible. So out of the many shots I took, only a few of them have the whole field of view sharp. It just so happens though, here's one of them.

350D + 18-55mm lens @ 31mm f/5.6, ISO 400, 1/320s exposure.

Processing included sharpening and levels/contrast adjustment in photoshop.

I have a few others through the 14mm Meade UWA and 4.7mm Meade UWA, but I haven't seen if there's anything worth salvaging yet.

Comments welcome.

what's a sun???

i am so used to the nights now and lack of sleep that i do not see the sun anymore. Actually when us reflector boys meet each other, it is a case of stand on our heads and face back the front and try and shake hands!
