Dusk

Josh (nortilus) Ron (astroron) and myself spent the evening at Jim and Roey Fitzpatrick's place not far from where I live. (both are member of IIS too)
They live high on the ridge of a large hill and the views are spectacular.
We arrived just on sunset so I quickly set up to take these shots as the sky darkened.

Thanks Chris.
I was only using that el cheapo Tamron 18-200mm lens for this. I can only imagine what those trees would have looked like through some L glass.

I actually disagree. I like the fact that the trees are non-decript and not well defined. They are suggestive of a ridge line without bombarding you with detail. You're meant to know it's there, but that's all. I like them the way they are.
