I am selling this fine piece of equipment now that I have received its replacement. I bought the new QSI683 for the extra cooling and filter wheel (8 filters).

The camera is in great working order.

It comes with all the shipped goods, software.

It does not contain filters. I got those separately.

Edit: I am looking for a price of $2800. Buyer also pays for postage and insurance.

I'm a bit confused by all the model designations.
Which one of these corresponds to the one you have?

They look like a lovely piece of engineering, the integrated guide-port and ability to use 1.25" filters (is that right?) make it more affordable when you price in the cost of a filter wheel and OAG compared to other cameras.

Peter this is third one down on that list. Or at least that is the closest camera to mine. The new 583 have newer firmware but that is a simple download, and the cooling might be better now too. Mine will cool to 38C below ambient and to 45 with water assist. It only requires 1.25" filters in the mix.

The pricing on OPT does not include GST to pay or import tax (if any apply). Current pricing at Bintel is $4299 but I am uncertain if that includes filters.

Current wait times are high too. I had to wait 2.5 months for my 683WSG-8 and that may influence any decision people might have.

Do you have the physical dimensions of it? Would the 1.25" filters have any serious vignetting at F2?

I think you have to check the website. I recall that there is an f stop that is the defining line and I think f2 is well beyond that.

I'll do some research. I was thinking of it as a Hyperstar option, with the compact size and use of smaller filters I thought the obstruction might be small enough to get away with doing some filtered imaging. I'll delve a little deeper into the specs.

It appears that it is F5, but there are 31mm filters and wheel that might do it:
"Optional 31mm CFW allows unvignetted images to f/3. Works at f/2 with a Hyperstar."
I found an owner of both, I've emailed him to get details on how much it vignettes and how much can be processed out.
