Miraculous Mars 21st April

Well ok, only a minor miracle maybe. Check the seeing in the animation & then wonder at the final image. Admittedly the final is not overly good but hell, I'm totally impressed with 1 > the camera. 2 > Emil's Autostakkert.

Won't be long before seeing becomes even less of an issue

Yeh that's incredible ...us deep sky imagers certainly can't do that.

Onya John, a perfect example of what Planetary imagers fight against to get a good image

Asi,

I don't feel that bad with my images now as that's basically what I have every night! My last attempt at Mars also had cloud covering about a quarter of my images - as you said "you've gotta love QLD!"

Nice image of Mars,

Cheers,
Mario

Yep, reckon that's a miracle, to get anywhere near a reasonable image from that data has got to rate right up there. Hat's off to Emil for sure.

Well done Asi.

Trevor

Thanks guys. I reckon I can find a worse AVI in my collection on the HD - I think it would look great on Emil's homepage > "The power of Astrostakkert!"
