Unhappy Another bad day for music fans

Dear oh dear. Yesterday afternoon there was the sad news about the death of Colin Hay, formerly of Men at Work and this morning the death of Levon Helm from The Band was announced. Both were good musicians and nice people. Both have gone too soon.

Colin was of course best known for the flute solo in Down Under and the sax on Who Can It Be. Levon sang a stack of memorable songs but The Night They Drove Old Dixie down would have been the best known.

There seems to have been quite a few musical identities pass away recently - Jimmy Little, Jim Marshall and Earl Scruggs come to mind but I think I'm forgetting some. Not good at all.

Hi David,
Geez hope Colin Hay doesn't read that he is dead. It was Greg Ham.
