A thing of beauty

We were on the Murray this weekend.
She is flowing so fast, it is a bit unnerving actually sitting
watching it race by. Time for some fishing, some time to
view the 2012 Hot Rod nationals just outside Barmera S.A.
Some time to just take in the serenity.
The dawn panorama was so peaceful.
All shots, my daughter's Samsung point and shoot.

Hi Steve,

#1 and #4 look like Berri (my home town!) - am I right? Both great images that capture the beauty of the Murray.

Cheers,
Stephen

I thought so! I was last there at Easter 2008 (staying at that same caravan park), and I took this dawn photo from the same spot as yours!
I was lucky to have Mercury and Venus in the shot as well

How did the fishing go?

Cheers,
Stephen

Nice shot!
Kids got all the fish, only carp and a catfish, but they got a buzz out
of it.
Yabbies are on the go. Magic area.
