April 3 - Venus and Pleiades

Took a few more images tonight,and Venus was actually closer to the star cluster than last night ... beautiful.

Drove down the road to a section of the beach, walked through sand ,over a fence (little) and attacked by sandflies .. .geeze.

Images taken with 450 on tripod.

Nice set, I like the first one, it does look like another member of the cluster, much brighter of course.

Thankyou all!! Havent done much AP of late, so nice to be under the stars again, even with a mozzie or 2.

Thanks Andrew .. .I wasnt sure about the beach ones, and did take quite a few.

All single images taken on tripod with 450D.

Hope your dance works Luis, your images have been great.

Nicely captured Liz! I was busy last night (trying to learn Polish), but will hopefully get a chance to capture the conjunction this evening.

Great pics Liz.

My favourites are the 3rd pic from the first 4 and the 1st one from the second 2.
However they are all good pictures.
