Last ones from Avoca

These are the last of the ones captured at Avoca last Sunday morning (11th March), the first day out with my 5D Mark II.

1) Andrew and the wave. I love the motion in the waves. Large.
2) Moon setting at Avoca. Large.
3) Fisherman and Photographer. Same fisherman from Sunrise Contemplation, and a random photographer Cropped to 2:1 pano. Large.

Thanks for looking.

Good stuff Mike.

Glad you're finally enjoying a 5D Mark-II.

I might have to wander up to Avoca for a change. What if a bunch of us met half way somewhere for a session on early morning?

Great shots Mike.

That random photographer seems to be using Nikon 70-200 F2.8 lens?

Hows that for some forensic photography?

I'd be interested in a morning shoot sometime as well.

Greg.

Thanks Bob and Greg.

Let's arrange a date and a time and a location!
Where is central for everyone? I don't know any beaches south of the Central Coast.

Coming down the coast from Avoca there is Palm Beach (quite pretty), Whale beach, then you have the northern beaches which I'm not super familiar with.

Down south of Sydney you have Stanwell Tops area which is very scenic including Gerroa and Gerringong, Gary Beach which is a bit wild, Wattamolla which is very scenic in the Royal National Park (Peter posted the road to it is locked at night now).

Further down you go past some beaches at Wollongong but air pollution from the steel mill kind of spoils it.

Then heading south there are some really pretty beaches around Nowra, Jervis Bay (where the sand is white and the water aqua).

Further south again is Mollymook, Ulladulla (a fishing fleet town),
Then you have Batemans Bay area - Murramerang, Kiola etc.Narooma (mountains, rivers, lagoons and beaches).

Up north you have the Forster area. Port Stephens area is very scenic as well.

I am happy to go to Avoca. Its an 8 hour drive from Cooma though.

Greg.
