350D Problem

has anyone had any trouble with the 350D? specifically got mine tonight and the LCD screen will not display an image, thanks guys.

Have you checked the settings in your user menu?
The "review" or "preview" setting might be set to off.

If the 350D is like the 20D you need to press a button to display images. The display does not give a live view.

yeh it fooled me at first, after I was used to the standard "digicam" approach where you don't look through the viewfinder, you look at the LCD screen to compose your shot.

But being a true SLR, there's no live display with the 350D.

Also Mick after taking a bulb shot the camera will take some time to process the shot before you can take the next shot, it will say busy and on the LCD panel then show you the shot when finished.
Just thought i'd mention that so you dont think the camera has seized like i thought when i first used mine in the dark.
