M42 Orion with Trap and plenty of Layered Mask
Took plenty of different exposure times last night and did 5 separate layers then composed all together in paintshop. Finally did one which you can see the trapizium in Orion
not sure if this is my best pic im stuck. Love my DSI!

Hi EzyStyles,
Top job on the processing. M42 looks so much better without a blown out core. Well done.
Cheers,
Brad

Thanks Brad. Was a really tough one when layering the masks. One reason why i had to take 6 sets of stacked images with 5 layers.

Absolutely stunning - a lot of effort has gone into that!
I don't know whether that's your best image either - you've been coming up with so many good ones.

Well done Ezy!
I'm impressed! Your progress in deep sky imaging and processing is only matched by my frustration!
