Going a bit Luny

Hi All,

Had some time under La Luna this morning, was playing around with guiding and MPCC now that I have my low profile 2" adaptor which works quite well.

I got some nice video with the DSLR using Backyard EOS and the MPCC in place.

Here they are, hope you like them. All were 300 images at varying FPS from 10fps to 15fps at 150th sec, ISO 200.

Pic1 : Langrenus, Petavius, Furnerius
Pic2 : Mare Crisium
Pic3 : Tycho

Thanks for looking

Cheers

Chris

nice shots Chris. you know after a clear day it fully clouded over here tonight. I was going to give my new 60D a try with the video function, so i like what you achieved

Yeah, tell me about it Houghy.....

These were with the Planetary mode in Backyard EOS and 5x zoom (no powermate this time), however as I was trying out my new focuser adaptor the MPCC was left in.

Glad you liked them, I only stacked them and tweaked the wavelets & curves a tiny amount in Registax, looks like the seeing was good enough last night, pity about tonight....

Thanks

Chris

Thanks Rob,

I was worried about the collimation, but I think it may be sorted now.

Cheers
