Holy Bat Moon!!

I've been trying for this shot for 2 years. Just waiting and taking shot after shot. Tonight I got it in one!!
I really wanted the full on "Batman" symbol....maybe next time.

Wow, nice job! I see bats all the time while planet imaging. Every now & then I'll see a brief blanking out on the live feed & it'll be a bat flying across the FOV.

I remember that shot too David.
I have a colony of fruit bats about 500mt down the road from me, so every evening they fly over head.
Uncanny how they skim the top of the moon, and the bottom of the moon, and only when you have your hand off the remote timer, do they fly across the face.
