Copernicus in Black + LTVT views

Brisbane's fantastic skies have allowed me to get plenty of images in the last few days. This one is of Copernicus on the 2nd of March . Canon EOS 600D, 5x Powermate, 12" f/5 SkyWatcher Dobsonian manually tracked, in average seeing.

Thanks for looking.

That's a great view of Copernicus, and with nice resolution! Not often imaged at such low illumination angle, but it definitely looks great.

Thanks Rolf, and here are some alternative simulated views using the Lunar Terminator Visualisation Tool with Lunar Orbiter elevation data.

Hi Tom

I missed this post - I do like the image a lot - I have not seen Copernicus like this before! Very cool!
