Imaging the sun

When using a SPC900NC with a PST for the Sun is it better to have a higher frame rate in normal mode or slower frame rate in long exposure mode? It moves through the FOV fairly quickly so Im guessing faster in normal. Just checking tho

I usually try and get at least 15 frames per second, but I'd go faster if my camera would do it.
