Large cars (Commodore/Falcon) make up only 7.9 % of the market (2011 YTD) and most of those are government/fleet sales.

Interesting, thanks Glen.
The Commodore has a rather tenuous grip on the number one position. Holden are making the right move in promoting the Cruze as people move to more economical cars. Interesting that the Mazda3 has overtaken the Corolla in sales. Toyota need to get more "zoom" into their designs. In fact, the Cruze is snapping at the heels of the Corolla.
Regards, Rob

What I find ironic is how the sales figures do not reflect the winners in the ABC catagories. It also reflects in ABC that some of the catagorey winners are not main stream vehicles and therefore should not be included.

I would like to see ABC include utes/dual cabs.
Sales influence our car choices too of course.

I'm surprised to see the Holden Cruze up there, I haven't seen many on the roads at all.
I do like my i30 though
