A very nice capture, not sure which colour scheme I prefer. The first seems to show more detail in the rings, while the second is better for the cloud bands on the planet.
Would be happy just to see the sky here. Looks like clouds for another couple days.

I agree Ivan re the colours (prefer the second for natural looks), and ditto with the weather
Jen it takes patience, & lots of it. Of course, it's easier than DSO imaging. All I need is a 3 min hole in the clouds to get enough Saturn data for an image. In this case, I had a 6 min hole.
Peter, 3.5 min captures 30FPS. Not cooled no. I stow the OTA it in a specially prepared dehumidified room, which actually keeps everything 8-10 degrees above ambient. If I want to image I'll setup at least 3-4 hrs before, stoke the pedestal fan up & walk away.
Thanks Ray. Pretty pleased with these two I must say. They are actually combo stacks from AS!2 & Registax. Long story but you can read about that in another forum.
