Battle for Middle earth Strategy Game

The last month I have been playing this game...it's the second game of the series and far superior then the first..those who like strategy game get this one....the affect are fantastic and the spells and characters are awesome.

I took some screen shots of my game earlier today but these show nothing compared to the live game.

The 3rd image with my 2 hero's are my favorite characters...on the left is Dumbo[I made this character up myself he is a dwarf] and beside him is the most powerful hero in the game GALADRIEL but she can only be summoned if you have found the ring and returned it to your base...she is one powerful character...each hit sends tens of the enemy through the air Dead.

The affects are absolutely brilliant.

- have all you strategy fans seen the new star wars one 'empire at war' - wow! I'm not a big fan of strategy but that could convince me to change - and now i have moved to the dark side and finally own a decent PC (gutsy laptop) I am finally able to join in a bit more http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/...e/3721512.html

Bah, you got me all excited. I thought you were talking about a tabletop boardgame (my other passion)

I have played this game and do not like it. I prefer Age of Empires 3. But the best RTS I have ever played and still play is Starcraft Broodwar. No game has ever been better except for maybe Warcraft II which I cannot run properly anymore.

Ive been addicted to World of Warcraft!

Though moving into our new home will have no phone line or internet for 3 months! Telstra is out of copper cable in the exchange.. so where waiting for the RIM to be supplied power!

Did you play game 1 or the latest game 2 as this game has only just been released....game 1 sucked bad but 2 is fantastic...nothing comes close regarding special affects.

All the games you mentioned are very good....I enjoyed them all plus other Warcraft 3 all the C&C generals games....there are better games out there regarding game play but visuals and special affects definitely not.

I just have a thing for very powerful single charachters...lol

Your going to need a powerful video card to play this game in High Rez.

I don't know if the one I played was version 1 or 2. It belonged to a friend. It looked a lot like the pictures you posted.

I did play CNC a couple of times, but was never really into it. I prefer the gameplay in the blizzard games and Age of Empires.
