Software for Mac

My telescope has the ability to be hooked up to a computer and be controlled.

Telescope is below in my sig.

Does anyone here have a Mac? I got a Macbook Air and is fantastic for portability and would like to use it with my scope and need the appropriate software.

Thanks.

Software Bisque's Sky X is Mac Compatible, also Stark Labs have Mac Software.

This link has a number of Mac friendly Astronomy Apps http://www.zerobyzero.ca/Starstruck/?page_id=248

What's your definition of "appropriate software". Planning software, scope control, image capture, guiding, image processing? In addition to those mentioned above and those listed on that link above, I'll add PixInsight for image processing, StarStax for star trails, and RedScreen to keep nightvision. Those, along with AstroPlanner and Sky Safari are my most used on the Mac OS. I also run a VMWare Fusion Windows XP virtual machine on my MacBook Pro since there's much more Windows-based software available, and I use EQMod/ASCOM for scope control.

Don't forget RedScreen... I use it on my own Air and it's indispensable.

That looks promising. I have a 15" Macbook Pro on order to replace my old Dell laptop so will definitely give it a try.
