Plenty to do...

Here is what I like to do.

Tuesday night - Jurassic Lounge at the Museum (limited time only)
Aqua golf - Penrith
Observatory
Center Point tower
Harbour Bridge Walk
Bay to bay (homebush bay to Botany Bay) - Good on a bike
Bondi to Coggee walk
Blue Mountains - Various walks, nice cheap cafe despite being run by a cult or something from what I hear (common grounds)
Harry de wheels in wolloomooloo
Luna park
and there are various festivals that might be on
and so on...

absolutely cant go wrong just jumping on the ferry for a round trip
get on at darling harbour, goes under the bridge, and man....what a bridge! round the corner to the opera house get off at the rocks, have a beer at the hofbrauhaus, some fantastic restaurants there along the front
if your bored in sydney your bored with life
i myself particularly like spanish food and especially spanish flamenco so my favourite haunt is liverpool street where the best resaurant and inexpensive tappas is "captain torres" and just about fifty metres down the road a great underground club with authentic live spanish flamenco
mmmmmm...... heaven for me
i love sydney!

And always remember ... the best view of Sydney is in the rear view mirror of a car going bush. Noisy, smelly, overcrowded place that it is.

and I am only scraping the surface!

That is mainly in and around the city. Each suburb also has its own several activities or sights to see, then add the Hunter Region, the Illawarra, etc

Plus any organised events on certain dates like Festivals, Hot Rod Shows, Parades, Special events on the Harbour (Australia Day etc) and the list goes on
