Arty? Cradle Mountain

I've been messing with some so-so shots from a trip to tassie a while back the original looked a bit run-of-the-mill ( due to ducking snow and rain ) so I thought I would see what anyone would make of this treatment .
First time I've used this effect.

I think it looks great, it has not so much a photo feel but it kind of looks like a painting.
Certainly different, well done.

Thats the effect I was after but its also possible to have the pic look like an etching which prints up nicely in B&W.
