Meade 8" LX-90 SC UHTC - with extras
Hi,

For sale here is an ideal starter outfit for someone looking for a decent scope that is grab and go, goto, etc with some scope for astrophotography etc.

  • Meade LX-90 Schmit-Cassegrain telescope (non GPS, pre ACF).
  • Meade Tripod
  • Meade Superwedge
  • Deluxe padded tripod bag (big enough to accomodate tripod and wedge) from www.casesandcovers.com
  • Meade Genuine Fixed dew shield
  • Pelican Hardcase for transport of scope (pick and pluck foam).
  • Meade Plossl eyepiece set including 6.4mm, 9.7mm, 12.4mm, 32mm, and 40mm eyepieces, with diagonal, in aluminium carry case.
  • Meade LPI Camera (lunar planetary imager).
  • Some other extras I can't think of right now.

I'll get some photo's during the week - but this is an excellent beginner package.

Price $1800obo.

PM for further info. Scope is located in Springvale Victoria, and can be inspected most weekdays, and other times by special arrangement.

OK - here are some pictures.

The Tripod and Wedge fit neatly in the bag for transit. There are 8 Plossl eyepieces in the kit, ranging from 40mm through to 6.4mm. Included is a small torch and the meade carry case.

The pelican case has a retractable handle for wheeling and a side handle for carrying/loading.

Great beginners kit.
