They are reaping the rewards for a lot of good training and effort. The whole team has done so well. Perhaps a couple of the boys are a bit lucky to still be there (Marsh and Haddin) but who wants to change a winning team combination?
It would be nice if the young batsmen were a bit less fragile, but it is good to see the team as a whole going well - the bowlers in particular.
Of course, India's form away from home has been pretty ordinary, which helps. I am really looking forward to the Ashes next year - that will be the real test. And will be great to watch because it shouldn't be a walkover for either side.
Clarke - a double century knock with Ponting only ten behind on 190. Incredible. This should not happen in international-level test cricket..... But hey! As Tony Griiiiiiiig said - a "purple patch" in form for both of them.
