NGC2024 The Flame Nebula

Took this last night. Was very blurry due to bright sky caused from the moon. No filters were used. 11 x 1 minute 24 sec stacked

lovely, i suggest you buy an ed80 refractor ota only. You are getting very good, but the dsi will be restricted in being too close ie too much magnification.

Either that or you start looking at focal reducers etc

well done

wouldn't worry bout better stuff yet mate...your churning out the goodies..a focal reducer does exactly that..reduces the focal length..so if u get a .5 focal reducer it will turn ur f4 into an f2, reducing the exposure time needed by half as well....i had one for my meade b4 i sold it....but it was an f14, so it was a must..
godd stuff ezy

I was trying to see that as a naked eye object last night.....very hard to see. Now I might have a better chance, knowing what I am looking for. Cheers for posting that pic, Ezystyles.
