Ubuntu 11.10 and Cartes du Ciel

Hi If you have Ubuntu 11.10 or intend to upgrade to it, and you intend to use Cartes du Ciel when you load it up, it crashes with a error message about some "TWinControl.WMSize loop detected" issue. This had me pulling my hair out. But the fix is so easy, I thought I would give the Open Source crew a heads up only downside you have to use the arrow keys to scroll around as the scroll bars have been turned off, but i can live with that until its fixed

to fix

Quote:
You can bypass the problem by editing the file ~/.skychart/skychart.ini
Locate the line ViewScrollBar=1
and replace by ViewScrollBar=0
Save the file and now skychart can run correctly.
BTW the issue I had was with Pinguy OS 11.10 which is based on Ubuntu but heaps cooler. check out the screen shot of it in action
