Saturn 19th March 06'

I've taken better, & a lot worse!

Seeing conditions was up there in the nine outa ten

6" refractor & toucam, 1500 frames stacked out of 2100 total.

Toucam settings: 5FPS Gamma 80% gain 70% Brightness 40%

This is a final image from the worst AV out of the 3 I got.

Thanks.

Yes I just found out for myself on the laptop, it's now full! From what I saw, it's not far from the middle of transition now actually.

Don't worry Matt, your time will come soon

Thanks guys, but I just got to view Robs latest Saturn & WOW!? puts this thing I have here to absolute shame!! But with all due respect to the marvellous equipment I'm using at present, I thank you for giving me the images I am getting!

Yeah I'm happy with it.

The colour you've captured is beautiful and the brightness of the planet is most natural looking.
Who wouldn't be happy with such a nice shot?
If we only posted a picture here when it was the very best we'd ever done, we'd only get a couple of posts here a month at best. So keep the piccies coming.
