Jupiter 19th March - three moons - teaser

Waited from 3.30am for 1.5 hrs and the clouds went away - positive thinking or a touch of asimov persistance????

This one is is optimized colour 500 out of 900. Seeing was variable at say 6/10 to 7/10.

I then got the cheapie extension piece out and as I focussed, i fell over with the image scale. 2/3 of my 640 x 480 screen was full of Jupiter!!

More to come

You have a rippa on your hands there!? Geez, I'm almost not game to post my efforts, I reckon you'd have a chuckle to yourself over the colour!!

Great image there Dave - very pleasing composition with the moons, GRS and planetary detail.

Cheers

Nice! Can't wait to see the final, looks to be your best at this early stage.

Unfortuantely I was clouded out (with rain) - nothing from me, so i'm looking forward to yours!

Hey DP, heaps of detail, and that composition with the 3 moons is a ripper, don't keep us in suspense for the final product too long
