Good site or shop to buy ambers lens in Sydney

Hi
I am looking to get a Tokina 11-16mm f2.8 lens for my 450d for some wide field astro work. Can anyone recommend a good place to purchase from with a good price and service in and around Sydney?

Ps. excuse the typo in the title. It should read camera lens. Damn iPad self correcting text mode

John, I got mine (and other stuff) from DWI, but they source all their stock from HK. No complaints about their price or delivery but warranty claims might be interesting. As recent acquirers Stephen (StephenM) and Jeff (theodog) might have some suggestions too.

Hey John,

I've had lots of good expirences with digital camera warehouse. Bought my body & since a few lenses from them and they've always been competitive on price. I've only dealt with them online but their site says they have a sydney store. Not sure how their Tokina prices stack up but worth a look.

Picked up the Tokina 11-16mm at the Digital Camera Warehouse today in Canterbury. Look forward to trying it tonight.

Will be interested in hearing how you go John. A wide angle has been on next on my list for terrestrial photography for a while. Knowing these are good for astro too will mean I'll be picking one up sooner rather than later.

All the reviews on the Tokina look good. I'll be looking out for some photos from you!

Cheers,
Mitch
