Theoretically possible. But under the current availabel technologies, one would have to have sensor (more likely multiple sensors) inside the body (roaming nanbots or implanted sensors at specific locations such as liver, kidney, heart etc). The sensors would collect specific data and have a micro-transmitter and the tricorder would receive and analyse the data captured.

Actually I remember reading that somewhere a while ago where nanobots could be injected at a early age into your bloodstream and you then monitor your own health just imagine getting a read out each day

blood sugar level
heart rate
pulse
toxics in your blood
muscle degradation
cancer cell detection
any other abnormalities

problem would be your immune system attacking the nanobots

Arthur Clarke had the answer in one of his novels in the Rama series (Rama II I think.) The answer was in providing the nanobots with a coating that adapted itself to the environment it was in - glib but amusing - and also self-destructed if it malfunctioned.
That could make gallstones look quite mild.
