"Rusted" PST 40 Solar Scope

The PST has what is known as a "Rusted" Lens. It is a fault that makes the objective lens look rusted. It seriously affects the quality of the image. The scope could be used as parts of a ATM project or could be upgraded to the following.

The PST is sold stricly "AS IS' with no guarantee to the of quality image. $100 + postage
The PST hard carrying case is available seperately for $50 + postage.

Both the PST and Carrying case $125.00 + postage.

It is already mine I'm afraid, I'll document the mod and post it up in the forums.

BTW, is it possible to stack using two PST etalons, or do you need a special type?

Yes, you can double stack PST etalons. You need a special adaptor (I have drawings) BUT I found it very very sensitive and almost unworkable.
Much easier to double stack with an external etalon like a SM60 etc.
