It seems that the Russians have another failed satellite on their hands.

I love this bit:

Phobos-Grunt is moving around Earth at an altitude between 201km and 275km, meaning it will fall anywhere between latitude 51 degrees north and latitude 51 degrees south, which encompasses all of Australia.

So, basically anywhere on the planet, except near the north and south poles.

It's a real pity it didn't work, it had the potential to be a very important mission, especially the sample return

I,m with you on this one Trevor, It is sch a shame to lose this mission as well as every other mission that has failed in the past.

But at least there are plenty on at the moment and many more to come.
