etx90 question

I have an etx90 with small (crappy) finderscope: not the right angle one. Does anyone know if it is easy to convert over to a Red Dot finder?

I could use the Telrad but it would be awkward due to the size and also the need to readjust the Telrad when going from scope to scope ( I don't want to but a second Telrad also).

I think the latest etx90 comes with a Red Dot finder but i am unsure as to whether it is a straight swap or not

Thanks for any info you can give

Arthur

I am not sure about the ETX90 finder mount but if it is Meade standard the red dot finder that come with the lightbridge should fit.

I have an ETX125 that has the complete assembly with clock but I am sure that that won't fit.

No idea, and just guessing here, but the red dot I have (not used yet) has a stick on adhesive foot. If this fitted the tube or rear cell area, then yes it could be adapted quite simply.
Bowl into the likes of Bintel with the question, I am sure they could help.

Check the Meade web site.
The latest version of the ETX90 in fact comes with a red dot finder so there is a fair chance it will also fit the older version.
