Angry Bushfire in Snake Valley

7 news just reported a big bushfire in the Snake Valley area.

Our thoughts are with all those fire fighters and people in the area.

Special thoughts for Ken and his family and friends.

I typed a lengthy update but when I clicked on 'Post Quick Reply' it didn't post it. I won't write it all again as it was very long.
Basically, it said: thank you for your best wishes. It has been a bad day but we are safe now. 3 houses burnt down so far and the camp was burnt out but they saved the buildings. Raining now.

Pretty scray considering you guys were there for the camp last week! Glad the buildings made it through in-tact.

All the best to those who did lose property or livestock in the fires. I hope noone got hurt.

So glad to hear you and your family were okay Ken, I was thinking of you when it was pouring with rain here, which we only got 4mm out of, so hopefully you got something decent. In a way you a very lucky the camp was last weekend and not this weekend like I had thought.
