Steel Pier for $50

For sale is a Steel Pier as follows:.
- approx 6mm wall thickness, 90x90mm square, approx 30kg
- 8mm thick top plate (200x200mm)
- 8mm thick bottom plate (200x250mm)
- 1060mm between bottom plate and top plate
- approx 1.2m from bottom plate to bottom of mount
- painted white, and covered with space/astronomy stickers

Asking price is $70.

Also for sale is a 10” ventilated brake disk accurately turned and press fitted to a 6” brake drum to form a pier adaptor for a Losmandy GM8 or G11 mount … with an automotive flair. Adaptor includes an aluminium bracket for attaching a Losmandy digital drive or Gemini unit.

Asking price is $30. (now sold)

Having shifted house mid-year, I expect it will be a fair wile until I build another observatory and purchase another mount to further indulge in the joys of astrophotography …. so it’s time to move these on.

Local pickup from Wonga Park (Melbourne eastern suburbs).

Cheers,
Jeff
