Where to buy my first scope?

Any suggestion?
I am looking forward to buying my first, an apo refractor.
Would like to know where to make my purchase?
Good price and good service is what I am looking for.

+1 on the Bintel recommenddation.

If you are not sure what you want it is hard to beat walking into their "showroom" and trying stuff out. I've never visited the Melbourne location but if it is anything like the Sydney store it will be well worth the trip!

Bintel is the way to go.
All my gear has been sourced from the one store.
Freight is great also

Cheers Kev

Hi Ian

As above I would recommend Bintel - I only know the Sydney store but if the Melbourne guys are half as good you will be well catered for!

Hi,
Plus 1 for Bintel, they are located in Burke Road just north of Toorak Road on the left (look for their yellow signage) Roger is the bloke to see.
Greg.
