434 runs!

Australia just finished there batting, managed a record 434 runs, with 4 out.

I feel good that I watched it live

don't think it will be beaten for a while.

Far out, what a game! Australia needs to axe a few bowlers seems they can't even defend 434. Gibbs' innings was probably the best one-day innings I've ever seen (175 off 111), in what has to be the greatest ODI match ever played.

an unbelievable game.

i went to bed after the aussie innings, expecting the hear the news that we won by 300 runs, but no.

i wish i'd watched the whole gome.

mick lewis is in trouble re his selection - conceeding 113 runs.

who would ever have thought that any team would get over 400 runs, now they have set the benchmark. Congrats to both sides for an entertaining innings each. i think the people who paid to be there really got their moneys worth!

But you would think that you should be able to defend 400 odd runs don't you!!!

Oh, to have been at that match.

I'm still in awe of South Africa's run chase.

I was being fed updates all night on IRC, as I don't have Foxtel. I thought pretty much the same as yagon, that they would have lost horribly. How wrong I was.

I look forward to this match being released on DVD. Hopefully.

Much kudos to South Africa.

Regards,
Humayun
