Very nice effort Humayan, good to see such excellent results in such a short time. Polar alignment looks good with just a hint of stretching at the extremities of the field, I feel guilty having not even bolted my wedge on the LX yet...

very, very nice Octane! I like the unmodded canon look too, as much as I like the modded look, more blue/green dominating

Hi Phil,
Thanks for the comment.

Kearn,
Thanks for the compliment.
After having seen what amazing things the Hutech-modified cameras are capable of, I'm seriously considering a purchase of either a EOS-20Da, or a Hutech-modified EOS-350D. May leave that for a few months, for now.
Regards,
Humayun

Hi Paul,
Thanks for the compliment!
I'm not overly happy with this attempt. There's a cyan colourcast throughout (thanks Andrew/Rocket Boy). It ended up this way because when I tried to stretch the levels and set my black point, I ended up with a very thick red colourcast. This was a compromise. Although, I think it may have something to do with the ASINH stretching that I performed in IRIS. I might give the RAW's another process without ASINH stretching, or very subtle stretching.
Thanks again.
Regards,
Humayun
P.S. Can you imagine having a downlink from Hubble? Phwoar!

Reason: Got Rocket Boy and Astroman around the wrong way!

Hi David,
Mate, it doesn't hold a candle to your black-and-white wide field. It's amazing!
Thanks!

I dont think this is working for you at all Hummy, you should get rid of all your equipment and become a couch potato. Instead send me all your equipment and I will look after it for you.
Seriously
Great image Hummy, your getting quite good at this now, well done. The cyan is a little too over powering but it still is a great image.

Andrew,
OK, where should we meet?
Thanks for the compliment! I realise it has too much cyan in it. But, I kept losing nebulosity if I tried removing it.
Next time, I will take a lot more images at a lower ISO, and perhaps not use the ASINH stretch in IRIS so much.
Cheers, mate.
Regards,
Humayun

Thanks for the compliment!
You might want to do a search on my previous posts to see the other wide-field images I've posted and show them to nan.
