Reprocessed Pleiades Data

Hi all,
Very poor telescope weather lately apart from some very lucky shots of the eclipse last weekend. One plus side is I have had plenty of time to go over some old data and have another play.
I would love it if anyone had any comments/critique/suggestions for further processing. I'm always looking to learn.
Cheers
Greg

You've brought out more of the nebulosity but at the expense of the star colours. My suggestion would be to use the luminance data from this repro layered over the colour data of the previous. Have a look at Atalas' tutorial for boosting colour, it works a treat.

You will find it pretty hard to start stepping upto the more advanced tricks and tips we give you with elements. As layer masks and what not start playing a big part of selective processing

Nice photos Greg.

The newer one has a lot more nebulosity but I also like the subtle look of the original.

I also would recommend you look at Atalas' excellent tutorials.

Ross.
