Some One's Really Done It This Time

30 days and 30 nights. Maybe a three day reprieve.
That is the long term forecast for Brisbane for the next 4 or so weeks.
Rain or showers. More rain and showers. One of the dryest Novembers on record.
Now maybe a very wet Dec.
I had been planning to take my Grandson to the shore line to watch the Moon eclipse.
Been out there already and chosen a spot. Bleah.

Some one has obviously won lotto and lashed out for an early astro christmas.
That I regard is totally unfair. If you are the culprit and are reading this: May all your chooks metamorphosize into Ostriches and kick your fowl house down.

The Monsoon is upon us. I'll have to settle for playing with Stellarium.

Cheers

How's my timing - I've just got a 30 day trial licence for Alignmaster which corresponds to the rain period in Brisbane!!! Will I get to try it out? I've been in the rumpus room and the mount moves but I need to be able to see stars!!!!

Time will tell...

Cheers,
Mario

Hi Mario,

What will you do to the culprit? If you catch him first?

Maybe contact the company and request a different time period. I'm sure they will understand. Particularly in this economic climate.

Cheers

PS 'Fess up who dun it. LOL

I picked up a couple of stepper motors from pmrid for my EQ6 Pro.
Surely that can't be the reason.
But just in case I'll be hiding in a secret location for some time.
Ok it's under the house near the beer fridge.

Ken.
PS. I promise I won't fit them

Hi Ken, JJJ, and All

I think the culprit wont fess up. Gone into hiding. That's understandable.

Hmmm, there's a 30" SDM dob for sale in Ice Trade. Did it happen to find a new home...

The size is right. The price is right. The curse is right, .
