100 years of the quantum revolution.

Couldn't help but put this up.

It is a fascinating article on the beginnings of the quantum revolution.

With the recent possible discovery of the Higgs boson, the struggle for a broad model continues today.

We should remember that the 3 sigma level is by no means, firm ground to overhaul anything in particular. Such low levels of significance in particle physics, have bitten the dust before ...
I have a feeling the main focus will be on the tenuous results (similar to the FTL/Neutrino exercise), as opposed to scrutiny of the theory.

We'll see, I suppose.
