Were these images captured with your DFK or perhaps with the DMK monochrome with the use of coloured filters?.
I have been looking at the range of cameras from "The Imaging Source" who manufacture these but todate I am undecided which one to go for!
Would welcome capture/ settings info if you would kindly provide.
Many thanks

Thanks Anthony,
I took these images with the DMK 21 618 camera,celestron c11 edge hd on a cgem mount,televue 2.5 powermate,astronomik filters.
I used Firecapture 2.0. 1/60s exposure 60 fps and captured 1 min per channel (3600 frames).
I have three Imaging source cameras.
1.DMK21 AUS-THis is a mono camera.Very nice camera, but not as sensitive as the DMK 21618 camera
2.DFK 21.This is a color camera. It can give you really nice images if seeing is good and it is a good starter camera since you dont need filters or a filter wheel.
3.DMK 21 618.This is TIS newest mono camera. It is much more sensitive than the DMK21 AUS.You can use a shorter exposure and less gain so you get better images.
If you are just starting i would get the DFK (or DBK) so you can learn how to capture and then move on to the mono 21 618..
