Thanks very much to you all and what are you doing in Portugal Liz.
Have been working on my scope all afternoon installing larger fans to circulate more air off of the cold plate of my Peltier onto my primary mirror. Reckon I will have to be careful now when I run them that the thrust doesn't cause my scope to lift off.
Went out to dinner tonight with my wife & son and got a huge surprise when we walked into the Demo Clubs dinning room to see a heap of my friends from our Bowling Club. This was the first surprise birthday party I have ever had. One of my friends even decorated a birthday cake for me that incorporated one of my Saturn storm images into the icing.
Was going to image Jupiter tonight but all afternoon our local ABC radio has been giving out severe weather warnings for all of our region, it looks pretty murky at the moment so reckon I will give it a miss tonight.
I have a new set of Astrodon LRGB filters on the way that should turn up shortly and look forward to giving them a run.
Thanks again for taking the time to post the birthday greetings, I very much enjoy my astronomy, especially the contact I have had with many of you from my trips to the SPSP and Astrofest.
