Sirius A and B

After imaging Jupiter I decided to point my 12" Sky-Watcher Goto Dobsonian at Sirius. Using video crop mode on a Canon EOS 600D and a 5x Powermate I managed this image. Added a video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vfpDrJ1rY4o

Thanks for looking,

Tom

Thanks John. The star was still fairly low in average seeing and I hadn't aligned the scope but it was straight forward enough to manually track. I didn't actually get the eyepiece on this time, but did notice a small speck in live view.

That's a great result, had a go splitting this early this year and could do it with the blue filter to cut down the glare and it split quite successfully.
