M83, the Southern Pinwheel

Hi all, here's my effort at M83. Details as follows:

Meade 8" LX-90 LNT @ f3.3, Polar mounted
Meade DSI Pro,
20 frames each LRGB, 30 sec
Guided with Guidedog and Meade LPI on Saxon 70mm refractor
Processed in photoshop

Still needs a flat frame, but I haven't got into that yet.

Yes, a flat frame would really help this one. It would not only deal with the vignetting but also should get rid of the dust donuts on the right.

They are worth the effort.

Cheers

Hi Itchy. Yeah I've spotted both of those problems, but haven't actually taken any flats yet. Might try it tomorrow, but I'm still learning the techniques. It's all baby steps lol
